Peace Not Pork

Join us for the first annual Peace Not Pork event hosted by VegLife Des Moines. Rather than celebrate the death of pigs (hint hint at another event happening this day), we will celebrate their lives and work towards a more compassionate future for animals.

We’ll hear from Chelsea Wilde from Iowa Farm Sanctuary about the delights of pigs and stories from the farm. There will also be door prizes from Fong’s, A Dong and the Iowa Food Coop!
There will be plenty of vegan snacks and we invite you to support Peace Tree with a beer, kombucha or root beer!!
