Join CultureALL and our friends at Lola’s Fine Kitchen in Ankeny for a fantastic fusion of the flavors and traditions of two fabulous countries: the Philippines and Pakistan. The evening will include:
• A Boodle Fight: a Filipino-inspired take on a buffet-style meal with Vegetarian option available – this is a special meal not on the regular menu at Lola’s.
• A culinary discussion with Lola’s owner/chef Hannah Shah Elliott, who will explain how her Filipino-Pakistani family heritage inspires her cooking.
• Cultural presentations from members of the local Filipino and Pakistani communities
Proceeds from this gathering support CultureALL’s multi-cultural education program for young people. Your contribution will help us provide programs to kids in our community this summer.
