DSM Veg Tots Meet-Up

Our first event will be at the Valley Community Center (VCC) on Wednesday 11/16 from 9ish – 10ish AM. Please feel free to drop by early or later as it works for your family.

The DSM Veg Tots leaders this month are Nick, parent to two children ages 3.5 and 1, and Emmarose, parent to two children ages 6 and 6 months. They will be at a table with a green piece of paper no later than 9:15am.

The VCC has a FREE play area perfect for young children! The center opens at 8:30am and has a cafe, but basically only has coffee and fruit for vegan options so feel free to bring your own vegan snacks.

This group is a great stepping stone into the vegan/plant-based community (you do not need to be fully vegan or plant-based to attend). We hope you’ll join us!

More from VCC: The Play Area is a glass-enclosed children’s play area near the cafe. This space provides fun and engaging equipment for kids from toddlers to age 7, as well as seating for adults. Adults can sit outside the play area and have a coffee with friends and watch their children play.

What to expect from DSM Veg Tots: We hope to have a regular monthly meet-up for families with young children to hang out. We may choose to change locations, days of the week, and times and your input is welcome. You’re welcome to join us as often as you’d like as these are very casual get-togethers. We are working on a regular schedule for school-aged children on the weekend, we are still planning and organizing these events. Feel free to leave feedback!
