Plant Based Vegan Holiday Dishes!
- During this hands-on cooking class, a vegan chef and a vegan Registered Dietician team up to provide recipes that will help you build a holiday meal:
- Mashed Potatoes with Parsnips, Cauliflower, and Fresh Herbs
- Savory Mushroom Gravy with Fresh Rosemary
- Cornbread Stuffing with Cranberries, Apples, Nuts, Seeds, and Fresh Sage
- Oil-Free Roasted Brussels Sprouts with a Balsamic Vinaigrette
You will learn basic knife skills, the health benefits of various plant-based foods, and for those seeking alternatives, we’ll teach ways to adapt recipes to be oil-free, gluten-free, and with no added sugars. You’ll head home with recipes, samples, and leftovers.

Details: Please bring your own takeaway containers for leftovers. If you’d like, you can bring your own apron.
After food costs, we will donate 100% of remaining proceeds to VegLife Des Moines, a non-profit promoting veg living around our city.
