Culinary Medicine – Cooking to Stop Inflammation/Pain

In our monthly Culinary Medicine* series, participants will learn how to apply flavor and kitchen techniques into preparing whole ingredient, less processed foods & peek into our take on medical research for the topics presented.

During this class we will look at common findings in research on nutrients found that help with inflammation and chronic pain. We will prepare three recipes to eat during class. Be sure to bring containers to take home leftovers.

Who should attend these classes?

Anyone who wants to understand the how and the why of cooking and health.

Anyone who wants to cook more whole foods.

*Culinary Medicine is a term being used in training health science professionals around the country. We want to share our culinary knowledge to help people expand their cooking skills and look at the interactions between food and health.
