June Vegan Potluck – Around the World

FreeWe’re so excited to host an Around the World night so that folks can have the opportunity to try new foods! We hope to see you on Monday, June 12th from 6-7pm at the Northwest Community Center (5110 Franklin Ave, Des Moines 50310). Doors open at 5:45pm. These potlucks are a great time to meet new people, share tips and recipes, and eat delicious vegan food!
Here’s what to bring to the potluck:
- A vegan dish (snack, appetizer, entrée, side, dessert / homemade or store-bought) to share along with an ingredient list. If you’re able to bring a dish that serves 10+ that would be great, but not required
- Tableware for yourself/your group (plate, bowl, silverware, napkin), we will have disposable on hand if you forget
- Beverage for yourself/your group
Don’t forget all dishes must be vegan – no animal products including meat, dairy, eggs, honey. If you aren’t able to bring a dish, we hope you’ll still join us. Everyone is always welcome at our monthly vegan potlucks!
Mark your calendars now so you don’t miss a single one. The event is free and open to the public. While there is a theme each month, it is optional to bring a dish in keeping with the theme – don’t let it hinder you from coming!
