March Vegan Potluck – Everything Potatoes

FreeIn March we are celebrating the versatile vegan staple… the potato. Come join us on Monday, March 13th from 6-7pm at the Northwest Community Center (5110 Franklin Ave, Des Moines 50310). Doors open at 5:45pm. These potlucks are a great time to meet new people, share tips and recipes, and eat delicious vegan food!
Here’s what to bring to the potluck:
- A vegan dish (snack, appetizer, entrée, side, dessert / homemade or store-bought) to share along with an ingredient list. If you’re able to bring a dish that serves 10+ that would be great, but not required
- Tableware for yourself/your group (plate, bowl, silverware, napkin), we will have disposable on hand if you forget
- Beverage for yourself/your group
Don’t forget all dishes must be vegan – no animal products including meat, dairy, eggs, honey. If you aren’t able to bring a dish, we hope you’ll still join us. Everyone is always welcome at our monthly vegan potlucks!
Mark your calendars now so you don’t miss a single one. The event is free and open to the public. While there is a theme each month, it is optional to bring a dish in keeping with the theme – don’t let it hinder you from coming!
