March VegDogs

Do you live with a friendly dog? Join us for a puppy play date for vegan/vegetarian/veg-curious dog parents on Sunday, March 26th from 2:00-3:30 at the Windsor Heights Dog Park located in Colby Park (6900 School St., Windsor Heights, IA 50324).

There are no costs associated with this dog park. Parking is available near Colby Park – to get to the dog park you will need to follow the walking trail that goes under the highway. There are usually poop bags and a few tennis balls, but you may still want to bring those items!

Please review the guidelines of the dog park:

– no food, drink, glass containers, or smoking

– no puppies under 4 months of age

– all dogs must have current vaccinations

– no aggressive dogs and/or dog owners

– all children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised closely at all times

– no dogs that are in-heat or ill

– no other animals aside from dogs and humans
