Seed Swap and Giveaway!

We Love SEEDS. They bring us joy and they inspire BIG garden dreams. We marvel at the enormous potential which waits patiently inside each tiny seed coat. Seeds help us to explore our own potential, while they teach us the art of patience. And they inspire us to SHARE

This fun gardening event is FREE, and the public is welcome from 10:30am-12:30pm. Peruse hundreds of seed varieties – vegetables and herbs, flowers and native prairie species too. Perennial and pollinator-friendly selections. Small space selections. Each adult attendee can choose up to 10 free packets of seed, each child can pick 2 free packets. Bring a gardening buddy or the whole family. Fun kid’s seed-starting activity, and a mini seed starting workshop for everyone. Meet lots of “seedies” and crazy plant people who want to help you have your best gardening year yet. Grab a cup of Joe and maybe a muffin, too.

Want to Swap? Swap your saved seed 1-for-1. Register in advance by emailing ninesquarefeet@yahoo.com with SWAPPER in the subject line. We’ll send you guidelines for packaging and labeling your saved seed, and you will be invited to arrive at 9:30 for a full hour of swapping before the crowds arrive.
