Have you been looking for a way to truly kick-off the summer veg-style? Well, here’s your chance!
VegLife Des Moines is hosting a picnic, and you’re invited!! (And your dog, and grandmother, and coworker, and frenemy.) Join us Friday, June 29 at Biddle Rotary Shelter at Raccoon River Park.
Curious what to bring? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered on all the details below!
What You May Want to Bring:
Any vegan burgers/dogs and buns you would like to partake of
A side dish to share
Beverages (it’ll be a hot one!)
Plates, silverware, and napkins (but we won’t judge if you want to use the grass instead)
Sunscreen, bug spray
Beverage/water bottle
VegLife Will Provide:
Charcoal and utensils for cooking those vegan burgers and dogs
Condiments for those delicious mains
Water
Lawn games
Help us make this event zero waste by bringing your own beverages and containers. Beer in cans only and under 16oz, please!
